In addition to understanding who Jesus Christ is and the role He plays in humanity's salvation, it’s essential to grasp that God’s desire is for everyone, everywhere to hear this Good News. Jesus’ final command to His followers was to spread His message of salvation across the entire world:

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19-20).

This commission, often called the Great Commission, emphasizes the urgency of reaching every nation, tribe, and language (Revelation 7:9). God’s plan is to ensure that no one is left without the opportunity to hear the truth about Jesus and the salvation He offers.

The Urgency of Time

The Bible teaches that the world as we know it is not eternal, and the return of Jesus is imminent (Matthew 24:14). Jesus said:

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14).

This means that as time progresses, the opportunity for salvation becomes more urgent. The fulfillment of this global mission is not only a command but a sign of the approaching end of the current age. The Scriptures warn that the time is short and that people must respond while there is still time:

"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2).

God's Patience, Yet Imminent Judgment

While God is patient, not wishing for anyone to perish but for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), the time for choosing is limited. God’s patience reflects His mercy, but it also underscores the urgency for each person to decide to turn to Him through Jesus Christ:

"The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).

The Call to Repentance and Faith

With each passing day, the need to respond to Jesus' message grows more critical. People are called to turn away from idolatry and false beliefs toward the one true God who offers life through His Son. As the Bible warns:

"Therefore, repent and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord" (Acts 3:19).

Conclusion

The time is getting shorter, and God’s Word must reach the ends of the earth. Jesus is the only hope for salvation, and this message must be shared urgently. The day of Jesus’ return is approaching, making it crucial that everyone—regardless of their background, beliefs, or prior idol worship—hears and has the chance to accept the eternal life that Jesus offers. This truth is not just for one group of people but is intended to transform the lives of all humanity.

It is crucial to listen to God's Word rather than the wisdom of this world because the wisdom of the world is temporary, flawed, and constantly changing, whereas God's Word is eternal, unchanging, and perfect. The world's philosophies, beliefs, and teachings often shift with time, aligning themselves with cultural trends, human desires, or popular ideologies. These ideas may appear wise at first but often contradict the truth that God reveals in the Bible.
